About Me

Before relocating to Chicago in 2005, David merchandised homes throughout the Southwestern US in cities such as Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix and Colorado Springs. Having a 10 year corporate management background in Social Services (which included training curriculum for various agencies), a degree in Interior Design, as well as having studied for his Real Estate license in California, David relocated back to the Midwest and continued merchandising model homes and corporate apartments in Chicago's downtown market on a freelance basis under his residential design company - David Cieslak Designs. His staging career in Chicago started with a small two-bedroom condo, and before long moved into the luxury million dollar (and above) real estate market. Having built relationships with top agents in Chicago, David prides his company on excellent customer service, but also showing results having staged over $100M in property. While in Chicago, David worked on styling sets for several TV shows including TLC's "Home Made Simple", LXTV's "Open House", ABC's "Holiday of Stars" and NBC's "Ivillage in the Loop." His design work has been featured on the front page of The Chicago Tribune's Home and Garden section and several other design-related publications and weblogs.
